Where to start with flight training?

In order to begin flight training you will need a medical - this can be done at your doctors office or an approved medical examiner.
Your instructor will need a copy of your passport or an official ID & birth certificate. This is for TSA.Call us if you have any questions regarding the required paperwork.

You can begin flight training at any age. You will need to be at least 16 to solo an aircraft.
After age 17 you can take the check ride for private pilot and receive your private pilot’s certificate. -
The FAA requires a minimum of 40 hours of flight training in order to take the checkride.

We get this question a lot, and it’s a good one. The amount of money you will spend varies depending on how many hours it takes for proficiency.
Our planes are $155 an hour x 60 hours = $9,300
There are additional costs for pilot supplies and the cost of the testing.
We guess that the average spent is $12,000.
